APPLICATIONS

Designed for use under the toughest conditions, our EMS RAM and EMMERICH PUMPS are operating throughout the world in a wide range of applications. Our ram and piston pumps are highly efficient, require low energy and have some of the lowest maintenance cost of any pump on the market. Solutions for industry, manufacturing and municipalities include filter press feed pumps, sludge pumps, grit pumping, grit removal, classifiers and separation, de-sludging. Our pumps offer greater suction lift for dredging and pumping sewage, waste water, backwash and chemical slurry, grout or effluent.

Digester Feed Pumps

No More Clogged Pump or Piping. The EMS Ram Pump – pumps what others can’t (rotary lobe, progressive cavity, piston membrane, air diaphragm, etc.). Bring it on! If it can be sucked in, we can pump it out! Learn more . . .

Filter Press Feed Pumps

The pump is the true “WORK HORSE” of the entire filtration system. The selection of the optimum pump to feed a filter press will greatly affect the performance of the filtration system. Pump selection and pump maintenance is a key to “on-line time”. Learn more . . .

Food Waste Pump

Contrary to what many think, food waste is extremely difficult to pump. Food waste contains metal objects (eating utensils, bottle tops, cans), plastic, glass, paper, rubber, rock, string/rope, oils, clothing and all forms of food. Food waste is the third largest component of waste by weight only behind yard waste and corrugated boxes. Approximately 35 million tons of food waste goes to landfills per year in the U. S. alone. Grit and Sand Removal

The EMS Grit Removal Pumps are low horsepower to save energy, are designed for 24/7 constant slow motion “strokes”, and crafted with tungsten carbide parts to insure many years of reliable, low-maintenance operation. Learn more . . .

Sludge Transfer and Slurry Pump

Our EMMERICH AND EMS SLUDGE PUMPS are designed to handle “tough to handle” sludge pumping. We can transfer sludge to a tank 20 feet away or a tank 20 miles away. Our pumps “suck” the sludge from a 30 foot deep pit or basin, and we can feed sludge to a filter press to pressures of 300 psi and 4 floors upstairs. Learn more . . .
